This book follows Nate, a boy moving on to a new house with his mother and father. When picking his room Nate finds a note and a tape recorder and he is determined to find out why it's there. When Nate starts seeing living dolls and talking birds I must talk to someone, trouble is he has to travel beyond the doorway which is forbidden. Nate must return to normal life but that can't happen without a bit of help on the way.
8/10 A great book
