This book is based on a true story about War war 2. Karin and her brother Marc had to leave there sick mother to run away from the Nazis. The hopped on the Henry Gibless (sent to France for the Jewish people to get away and be safe). When the ship had layed it's anchor in America, a whole new life started for them. New friends a new school and even know one to look after them. There were chances that they would never see there mum again. This book was really interesting as it was based on a true story and I learnt a lot of new things about World war 2. Once I read a chapter I couldn't stop reading. I give this book a 9.5/10
A great way to learn about history. Don't forget to proofread.
