Keegan: Boy In The Striped Pyjamas

Boy In The Striped Pyjamas

I think this book was great  interesting and had a suspenseful story line.
This books ending left me with a weird feeling because it just ended with a mystery. Altogether great book and the author did a great job.

Keegan: Ranger’s Apprentice Oakleaf Bearers

Ranger’s Apprentice Oakleaf Bearers

This book is a step up from the last book I read by John Flanagan and it’s the type of book that draws me in, fiction and medieval. This book in the series is about Will the main character being given his silver oakleaf which represents him being a fully fledged ranger.Altogether loved this book and thought it was better than John Flanagan's Last book.

Keegan: Ranger's Apprentice The Icebound Land

Ranger's Apprentice The Icebound Land

Good book but doesn’t have a big adventure like John Flanagan's other books in this series, I think this falls a bit short of my expectation but still a great book.I can't wait to read the rest of the series. I recommend you should read it.

Keegan: The Edge Chronicles Vox

The Edge Chronicles Vox

The Edge Chronicles Vox is a cool interesting fantasy book with many different species of creatures from goblins to Rubble-ghouls. Its is about a Librarian Knight whose aircraft has been hit by something and he has crashed to the ground, been captured, sold as a slave and has been freed by the Most High Academe. Altogether i thought this book was good and enjoyable and i'm looking forward to being able to read the rest of the series.

Awful Art - Maia.

Awful Art - Informational Text.

Michael Cox gives an idea of  how, when and where art came about. Starting from cavemen painting animals on the walls of caves to artists cutting off their ears for inspiration. This book has everything and anything you've ever wanted to know to do with how art was created. I liked this book because it gave me more knowledge on one of my favourite subjects whilst also telling the life stories of famous artists including Vincent Van Gough and Sir Stanley Spencer. Although it is very informative it also has a sense of fun by including the reader in questionnaires to see if they are 'owners of artistic temperaments' and many more.

The Sea Wreck Stranger ~ Greta

Title: The Sea Wreck Stranger
Author: Anna Mackenzie
Genre: New Zealand Literature
Book: 15/20

Ness, her brother Ty and their cousin Sophie live on a farm in a small island community. They have an infinity, repetitive list of chores and hardly ever get free time to themselves due to their strict Aunt Tilda and Uncle Marn. One day however all three of them were excused to go in search of new shoots and berries. Feeling content as they were free at least for an hour, they went down onto the beach. Sea wreck commonly gets washed up and that day was no exception. What they found though changed their lives for eternity, literally.

I really liked this book. Was a bit hard to get into at first as the author carried the descriptions etc on and on for pages. Once I reached the plot stirring up and such, it was quite interesting to see how Ness would get out of her inevitable future with the stranger from the sea. I rate it an 8/10.

Juliane Koepcke is a person who was a only  survivor of a plane crash who survived in the jungle with nothing but the wreckage of the of the plane. She survives by the things her dad used to tell her like if you see running water, follow it and there is a big chance that there will be civilisation. So she did and after a long time of walking along the river side she found a hut on the side of the river. The next morning she woke up and three men found her and took her back home.
This book has a bunch of stories like this that inspired Bear Grylls to this day.
