This is an amazing true story about the war and how a boy and his family survives.

Bombs, food, guns and death the whole thing is true. From waking up in the night to bombs and nearly die from getting shot and dehydration you could say they survived the worst. As well as that he has to leave his sister and brother who go and fight and be a nurse in the war and leave his mum dad and best friend. This part was sad because he had promised his friend that he would never ever leave him. so the had a secret code word paper planes. So one day the boy gets a letter with the title paper planes.
