Brotherband book 1: The outcasts - Marcus

This Book starts off with this group of raiders from this place in Skandia in the 1600's raiding this place with lots of shiny things and then takes everything they could find. But then there are two people called Michelson and Thorn (It's in the 1600's so of course their are going to be odd names.) and they were ordered to fight these four horsemen with spears while every other raider in the group takes their loot to ship. Of course the two of them scare away they guards but this brave or stupid citizen from the town picks up a dropped spear and runs through Michelson. 20 years past and Michelson friend Thorn is still feeling sorry for himself even tho he lost his right hand from pirates. Anyway Michelson's son named Hal and his friend Stig tries to win this event called the Brotherband Contest where they have to make their own Brotherband and sleep in the forest and survive all these activities only to be named the best Brotherband in Skandia. Sounds Fun!
