Poppy in the field is the second novel to Poppy. Her life changed dramatically when she moved to a hospital nicknamed ' Casino Hospital ' (as its a makeshift hospital based in a casino for the time period of the war) closer to the front line and in France. Surprised marriage, death of a very dear person to her and her newly disliked ex, even drama and trouble wounds its way through the pages of this book. I enjoyed this book so much I literally read it in a day. 10/10
