Title: Fur
Author: Meg Harper
Genre: Free Choice
Book: 4/20
Grace's life was peaceful, repetitive and perfect. Her life on a daily basis was school, Jenna and Matt (her best friends), swimming and her dad. What more could you want? There is Grace's puzzling past though. Her mother left when Grace was young with no reason and as Grace has grown older her dad has been left miserable and unforgiving to himself. Grace never understood why her dad blamed himself for the way his, and Grace's life, turned out. Until she heard an old story.
It pieced together what she wondered about herself. She loved swimming (and was great at it) to much to be humane and everyone thought she and her father were weird. The way she looked physically just added to the sum. Her fur made her stand out even more than she already did. Then she started seeing Nik Bentley, a posh kid out of town who attended a private school. Could her past, present and future work themselves out or would she have to swim deeper than she ever had before?
I thoroughly loved this book. It is so vivid and authentic that I could read it in one sitting. The author has a way of etching a picture so richly in your mind you truly get lost in Grace's world. I rate it a 10/10.

Soooo she had fur?I think I need to read this.
