Diary of a Sea Lion is about a little baby Sea Lion still learning the ropes. Him and his friends learn how to swim and catch fish, ect. But not being the sporty type, he struggles a little bit and is usually the last to achieve something. So he makes up stories about the sea to trick his friends out of the usual day to day life on a Sea Lion. Instead they live the lazy life on the shore, telling stories about sharks and whales.
I would recommend this story that would like a short and quick but funny and amusing story. I give it a 6/10 because it was a easy read, but still had some humor that our age will get.
Genre: New Zealand Literature.
Wonder how the author ever came up with the idea to write from a Sea Lion's perspective!
