Eldridge Genre: Historical Fiction The Night Bomber is about when a top secret bombing raid on Peenemunde and they had two destroy three factory's That were making rocket bombs to bomb London with. On the way back one of the Lancaster's lost all of its 4 engines and had to land as a glider. the main character was john a flight engineer on board the Lancaster who lost all of it's engines. His pilot got shot and almost died but john took the wheel and landed the plane an saved everyone's life. Before that flight John was known as a jynx because he 2 previose crews and was the only one to survive both times. I would recomend this book to other people because it was very interesting and it kept taking unexpected turns. I give it 9/10 |
